Ba Zi Life House 12 Mansion 2005 prediction

 

 

This is Master Chan’s Life House 12 Mansion Prediction for 2005 which formed part of the Advanced Ba Zi IV course in October 2004, compiled by Jillian Stott.

2005 is a     year.  (This is calculated from the start of the New Year at Dung Gee which is 20.33 21 December 2004).  The Life House is included as this is an important aspect of the year’s prediction – the Life House is calculated according to the hour and month.

 

The Horoscope for 2005 has nothing missing – all the elements are there.    in Winter is usually cold, however this  is not that cold, as  Fire is next to it in the month pillar, with   Wood next to that in the year pillar.  There are three Wood characters in the stems.  These Woods are supported by the Water in the month branch, which in turn is fed by the  Metal in the year pillar.   The  of the day and hour branches are also Fire Earth (the Fire bank or tomb), this is dry Earth.  Also the Life House, hour and day branches combine to half Fire.

 

The next question to ask is:  Is this Horoscope strong or weak? 

 

Luckily there is Water in the stems and Water in the branches (as Master Chan says the Water has a head and a tail).  The two Earths are both dry Earth, so this Horoscope is not cold at all.  Winter is wet, so this warms it up and is able to absorb the Water.  The half combination of  and   is also good, as this half combination stops the  Fire from attacking the Water.  As  is next to the Water, it supports the Water, the Water then supports the Wood (including the day stem), which feeds the Fire, which in turn feeds the Earth (the Fire tomb), which feeds the Metal …..  The cycle is complete, there is nothing missing.  The  day stem is therefore well supported, the Horoscope is balanced and strong.

 

Some Horoscopes can be wet, cold, dry or hot.  This is not cold or wet, which is very good.  2005 is therefore more balanced. 

 

The Form of the Horoscope is Yan.   As this is a strong Horoscope, we do not need any more Yan, so we do not need any more Water.  The main supportive element is Fire, which in this Horoscope represents career.  So Fire as career is the strongest supportive element, making 2005 a good year to start a new business.

 

The supportive elements for 2005 are Fire, Earth and Metal, with Fire as the main support.  Luckily all five elements are present, so all three supportive elements are there in the Horoscope.    which represents money, as Choi, combines with the  to make half Fire, therefore the money is not that strong as it combines to Fire and feeds the career.  The career (Fire) is strong; it is present in the stems and branches as well as having a combination change to half Fire, making career strong.  2005 is therefore a very good time to start new business.  You can make a fortune. 

 

Both  and  are empty.  When Fire is empty it expands the Fire, as  is empty this will expand the career, and is therefore very good for business.  Unfortunately,  is also empty, which is not a good sign as empty Earth is trapped.  Earth represents money, so money-wise this is not great.  Metal is also empty as both yang and yin Metal are empty ( ).  Empty Metal makes a lot of noise.  Empty Fire and empty Metal can expand the career and make you famous.

 

As the main supportive element is Fire, which represents the South, then the best direction for 2005 is in the South.  This is for the whole world.  As the elements to avoid are Wood and Water, the worst position for 2005 is the East.

 

This part of the prediction is based on looking at the exact time of Dung Gee to give us the Horoscope for 2005.  It is also possible to check the Tung Shu for next year to check the best positions.  The last page of the 2004 Tung Shu confirm that the best position for 2005 is the South, and the worst position is in the East. 

 

As 2005 is  day stem, and the Wood here represents gip choi, which is pinching money (as this is a strong Horoscope), the East is not a good place.  As the main supportive element is the South as Fire, so the South is the best position, as we have already seen. 

 

We can also look at the Life House 12 mansions to predict the year.  Next year the supportive element is Fire, and the Life House platform as  is also Fire, so this is doubly good for the South.  Some years are not so lucky.  The Life House is not necessarily the same as the main supportive element.  If the Life House had been North or East then that would not have been good.  However, the supportive element is South and Fire, and the  Life Platform is also south and Fire, which is excellent,  so 2005 is much smoother than 2004. 

 

In the South of the Life House 12 Mansion chart for 2005 are the four very good stars of Tin Duk – Blessings from Heaven, Fok Sing – Good fortune star - lucky star, Yute Duk – Blessings from the Moon and Hong Luen – Relationship star.  There is also another relationship star as Ham Chee giving double relationship stars.

 

Now looking at the opposite position we see Chee  in the North position.  This represents the future and also has two good stars, Tin Hay – Heaven Joy and Tye Yin – Moon.  These are both very good stars, especially good as one is yin and one is yang, and it is especially strong to have both, so that the yin and yang are balanced.  The opposite position, the North,  is also excellent.

 

The bad stars in this position are not that important, they are not very strong.  So the North is also a good position for 2005.  The South and the North both good.

 

In 2005 the East is not good.  The  position on the chart is empty - there are no good stars.  There are four bad stars - Dai Ho – big waste or big draining, Soy Por – year crushed in the branches, Lan Gon – fence – trapped, and Joi Sat – disaster, calamity.  According to this the East is not good; the Four Pillars and the Tung Shu also say the same thing.

 

Now looking at the three combinations of      .  These are not so powerful.  Yan in 2005 has no good stars, just the three stars of Siu Ho  - small draining, Sai Fu – death charm and Gip Sat - robbery and kill.  Therefore the North East is not strong.

 

Next check the Sute  position.  Here is the strong male star of Tye Yan – the Sun, which is Blessings from the Sun for males, but not so good for females; together with Pei Tau – cover the head with a cloth. The North West is therefore stronger than the North East.

 

We also need to look at the two combinations of  and  .  There are no good stars at the  postion,  just Tin Gow – Heaven dog, Pau Mei – tail of the jaguar or leopard, and Dai Hak - funeral guest.  It does not matter that the three combinations and the two combinations are not strong, as the Life House of  is so strong and opposite of  is also strong.

 

May is in the South South West, therefore it is still not good in these countries; the people are not happy with their governments.  There are so many funerals and no good stars.  There is danger as the Jaguar’s tail is there, so there may be land mines, care must be taken or they can explode.

 

As the Life House is at  in a cardinal position, we need to look at the other cardinal positions.  We have already said that  in the East is not good.    is yin, and also represents vegetation, therefore in 2005 the vegetation is also no good.  It is being drained too much.  The star Dai Ho means that in the East in 2005 it will be too wet or too hot, or some kind of disease will kill the vegetation.  All vegetables and fruit will therefore be expensive.  The star Lan Gon – fence is also at Muw, so people will put up fences to try to protect their vegetation.

 

The next cardinal position  is the North at , which we already know is very balanced.

 

 the cardinal position in the West has one good star as Jeung Sing – Leading Star.  In 2005 the Western countries may be overtaking the United States of America, the West can be the leader and be more powerful than USA.   The global leader is a Western country as Jeung Sing the Leading Star is at the West.  So the European Union will be stronger than the States. 

 

It is so unlucky that the Jeung Sing has no ‘stage’ on which to perform.  If the ‘stage’ was there then everybody would listen to Western leaders.  The Tye Shu – Grand Duke is in the West as 2005 is a  year, this is a good star to have here.  However, there are also lots of bad stars in the West.  Gim Fung is the sharp blade or sharp mountain, Tin Hoap is Heaven cry and Fuk Shi is the carcase – dead body.  The  position in the West is Metal, and Gim Fung is also Metal.  It is therefore important that the West does not push too fast, or things will go the other way.  The West needs to be patient.  Politicians need to be patient and not rush.  They must try not to be too sharp.  They need to know how to cooperate.

 

Then looking at each of the 12 Branches in turn, and thus the 12 compass positions.

 

Starting in the North,   Hoi is North North West.  There is only one good star Yik Ma – the Race Horse.  As this is the Racing Horse, the energy is fast here.  The other stars are Goo San – lonely star, Sonk Moon – funeral door and Dai Sat - Earth Sat, so Earth funeral.  There are no good stars, only Yik Ma.  This position is still lonely; nobody is taking care of this position.

 

As the Yik Ma – the Racing Horse Star is here at   then 2005 may be a good year to bet on one of the horses from the North to win the Grand National or the Derby.  One of the horses may be related to the North or Water, or its name may relate to the North or Water.  The energy is very fast as Yik Ma is in the North.  (When you win remember to send Master Chan 10%!)

 

 Chee is the North cardinal point, the centre of the North is good.  It has the very good stars of Tin Hay – Heaven Joy and Tye Yin - Moon.  One is yang and the other is yin, so the yin and yang energies are quite balanced.   These two strong good stars can protect all the bad influences here.  The two good stars are very balanced, even if something happens in the North, it will not be serious.  There is nothing serious here. 

 

However, in the North position any country where the land is low can be flooded.  Especially low ground which is close to Water is liable to flood.  This is because Fau Chum – Floating, struggling, drowning in  combines with  , and Fau Chum relates to Water.  The last 3 months of 2005 will be very cold and there will be a lot of Water.

 

2005 is a Metal year, and it can produce Water too.  The Tye Yin star is in the North, this is a yin star.  It is very lucky that the Tin Hay star is also there which is a Heaven Star; without the Tin Hay it would not be good, as there would be too much yin causing big Water problems.    The last three months of 2005 will be very cold, with heavy snow and lots of Water.  If the Tye Yang Star had been here it would have been much better.

 

In the North North East at Chow  there are the 3 very good stars of Tin Guy - Heaven Solution, Guy Sun - Gods solution and Sam Toi - 3 Stages or Platforms, plus Ba Jaw – Eight Carriages and Wah Koi – very clever but lonely.  The North North East is therefore also very good, it is a Lucky place as Heaven’s solution is there.   The bad stars  are outnumbered by the very good ones.

 

 Yan in the East North East has no good stars, so we must not expect this area to be good.  Both small vegetation (plants) and big vegetation (yang trees) will all have problems.  There is no protection for the vegetation as there are no good stars here.  We must also pay attention to our own buildings, and take special care of the woodwork both inside and outside.

 

In 2005 carpenters need to be careful, very careful with their work, or there could be accidents.  We all need to be very careful with anything to do with wood.  We need to be careful with fences and wooded things.  Here in the North North East at  there is the Gip Sat star – Robbery and Kill, therefore too many trees are likely to be chopped down.  

 

Master Chan said that great care needs to be taken with genetic engineering, the testing/production of genetically modified foods, and the laboratories to do with vegetation otherwise they can make a mess and make a big mistake.  2005 will see the world short of wood and vegetation, therefore the prices will go up.

 

We have already mentioned the  Muw in the East.  This is not a good position, with no good stars.  The bad star of Joi Sat -  Disaster or Calamity here, indicates natural disaster, Fire destroying the trees or other natural disaster in the East.   Joi Sat can also be forest fires.

 

The East South East with  Shun is good.  Here we have the very good stars of Dzi Mei – the North King star, Loon Duk – the South King star, who are both very powerful and can control any bad stars; together with Dai Guy – the Earth Solution and Soy Hap – the year combination star.  This position is therefore very strong.  There are three bad stars of Tin Ak – Heaven Disaster, Soy Sat – Year Sat, and Bo By – Suddenly Dead but this does not matter as there are so many good stars here; the bad stars will not do any harm.

 

 Shun relates to the Dragon, and  is also the leader.  The East South East leaders will be quite good and powerful in 2005, this is globally, the North and South Kings are there too. 

 

 Dragon also relates to films.  2005 will see a strange film, which is not easy to understand and not everyone will understand it.  It may talk about fantasy 1,000 years ago or 1,000 years in the future and can make a fortune and be famous.  The Dragon energy is fast, and fast action films will also do very well.  

 

2005 will also be good for very fast businesses.  However, the Stockmarket can be in a mess if we do not get it right.

 

 is also Earth, which relates to the stomach.  Slimming businesses will also do well in 2005.  Diets will also be prominent.  Restaurants that promote healthy eating will also do very well.  (As the Leader is in Shun,  controlling the stomach, the Leader will not want the stomach too big.)   is also the Water tomb.  Therefore anything relating to Water will prosper.  Drinking Water businesses will be very good.

 

Looking at  Jee now in the South South East, this is not good as there are no good stars.  Fai Lien – Flying Curtain, Ba Fu – White Tiger and Dai Sat - big kill.   If your own yearly Life Platform moves to  then you need to be careful, and take especially good care of your heart and eyes; and beware of mental problems too. 

 

 is very angry, causing arguments and fighting in South South East.  The bad stars of big kill, White Tiger biting you, and flying curtain are all together here.  This can result in so many arguments, which can result in people killing each other.  This is not just intention, this is action too.  There can be gang fighting, and riots in the South South East countries.  (Maybe Indonesia, Australia)

 

Looking at the South now in the  Ng position.  We already know that this is very good – it has very good stars, it is the supportive element for next year, it is prosperous.   The South will be a nice place to go next year. 

 

Then moving round to  May, this is empty as it has no good stars.  The South South West will not be good.  The bad stars are Diu Hak - funeral guests, Pau Mei - the jaguar tail and Tin Gow - Heaven dog.  There is no leader on top and all the citizens are in a mess.  As there is no ruler there, everybody is against the Government.  It is a dangerous place to be.  There are so many traps because of the Jaguar’s tail, this can be land mines, or earthquakes.  It can also be landslide, as this is May, which is also the Earth.

 

May is Wood Earth (the Wood tomb).  On top of the Earth there is no Wood.  The Earth needs trees or Wood to hold the Earth in place, without this the Earth can be loose, which results in landslides or earthquakes.  If you build a house here in   you need to be careful, and ensure that you have very strong foundations, check for underground streams or an underground hole.  If we also see the flying stars, then  has double Earth stress there, as 22 is at .  This also means that the South South West is especially not good for females as this is  Kwan the female mother position.  This is because there is no husband here as there as no good stars (good stars also mean husband).

 

 Shen in the West South West also has no good stars, just Mak Yute – commit an offence, Bang Fu – illness charm and Mong San – can be good can be bad.  This can cause sickness and disease in this position as Bang Fu is there.  Also     combine and   has no good stars either.  The result of the combination is Water, and Bang Fu is the illness charm – sick energy.  Master Chan said this was Water draining the Metal, so the problem could be alcoholism or to do with drugs, or sexual problems.   also has Mong San making it easy to forget, so people can easily forget to take their medication.

 

 Yuw is in the West, and the Jeung Sing star is there together with the Tye Shu – the Grand Duke, as this is 2005 which is a   year.  The  also combines with  which is also strong.  Therefore, the West is still strong.  The Western countries can be the world leaders, and easily tip over America.  Also looking at the Euro it is getting stronger and stronger.  America is jealous of the European countries.  (The West is mainly Europe,  America is North or South and does not belong to Europe.)

 

Looking at  Sute now in the West North West, there is Tye Yang – the Sun and Pei Tau – to cover the head with a white cloth, so one good and one bad star.  It is quite balanced and very very neutral.  We cannot say very good or very bad, this is a neutral position.
